How boring and uncreative are NBA players? No one wants to see the exact same dunks over and over.
The Contest has evolved into fans wanting to see gimmick dunks. D Howard had it down pretty well, but how can a guy with a 44 inch vert. (Shannon Brown) think his dunks were dunk contest worthy? Next time you are depressed at how much money these clowns make, just remember that 99% of them have no idea what to spend it on. Dummies.
My favorite part of the night is them using older, more boring dummies as judges. I thought the judging scale was 1-10, not 8-10. Pull out the 3 and 4's once in a while, not every dunk is a minimun 8.
Nothing proves their stupidity more than giving DeRozan a perfect 50. You never give someone a 50 unless it is the last dunk of the night. Why??? Let's say next year DeRozan does his shitty windmill off the side of the backboard again, and they give him a 50. Next up is Lebron and he does a 720 from the free throw line. What do you do now judges.? Can't reach for those 11's can you? So Lebron and DeRozan get the same score. Dummies!
I wish they would move the dunk contest to June's driveway. Kovich would be tough to beat on that turf.
