ReliJewlous

The title doesn't make sense with the post, I just love inserting "Jew" into every word I can.

My problem with the doc...

At the outset, Maher ponders why rational people become irrational when it comes to religion. He says he needs to find out why or at least try. Unfortunately, Maher doesn't find any answers nor does he even try. Instead, the doc just confirms what we already know about religion. There are a few funny moments but the constant cartoon/movie cutaways annoyed the shit out of me.

I've heard enough Shirley Phelps-Roper interviews to know there are crazy religious people out there. I wanted to see Maher delve into the the social functions of religion. I hoped to learn a little more about why intelligent people insist on making religion a big part of their lives. I have some of my own theories, and it looks like I will have to continue the research without the help of Mr. Maher.

  1. Since religion is about as appealing as this post, im going off topic. Tell me that you have seen the new taco bell commercial about that fat bitch that went on an all taco bell diet and "lost weight"(like jared from subway). They were showing before and after pics. Not only does she not look like the same girl in either pic, but the "skinny" girl is still fat as shit. What's funny is she says, "i want to go on a diet, but dont want to lose my fast food." Here's an idea you fat cow...get some exercise and learn to puke.

What's next...a salad and doughnut diet?
