The audio blog seemed to go over well so here is another. Introducing Delmar Lane, the southern comic. He's clean, hacky, and has a catch phrase. The South loves him.
Delmar Lane drinks cheap whiskey like Quik Trip pumps gas...He headlined our Independence Day celebration in Turner last Summer. Needless to say, his fresh comedy and present day views were the life of the party. He mentioned some up and comer on the circuit to keep an eye peeled for named "Jeff Foxworthy".
All the "Blue Collar Comedy" boys say Delmar Lane paved the way for catch phrase comics. He is the Gallagher to their Carrot Tops.
One of my earliest memories was when my daddy told me he almost named me Delmar. During his 1971 Turner High graduation ceremony he saw an up and coming comic by the name of Delmar Lane, and he has been his idol ever since.
My daddy said he did this bit called, "You might be a Turner Bear if...."
By the way, Mertz, the big celebration in Turner is called "Turner Days." And you're lookin' at the "1986 Turner Days" hula hoop champion. I was also runner-up in the cakewalk.
The Chipotle Kid once ate two chipotle burritos back to back, a feat never done before and one that will never be done again. If he can take down 2 burritos surely he can conquer the blog world. The blog covers a wide range of topics from the unique perspective of The Chipotle Kid.
If you like this, you'll love this comic I heard of named Larry the Cable Guy. Get er done!
