I can't be part of a society that thinks "Blindside" is a good movie. It was directed by the same guy who did "The Rookie", which I consider to be the worst sport's movie of all time. I have so many reasons why it is a bad film, but I don't want to write them all down because it will take up my whole night. What's the point of arguing anyway, those who thought it was good aren't going to understand a well-laid-out, rational argument anyway.
To be fair, the first half is not terrible, it is sorta like watching an episode of "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition." It's just corny and sappy. But once they start showing the football process, that is when it becomes unwatchable. It reminded me so much of "Waterboy" but it was supposed to be serious. I hate this country and all the rubes out there. I really try not to be an elitist but this is too much.

What about "Hot to Trot?"
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about Amistad
ReplyDelete"Hot to Trot" is classic. It's a talking horse that knows about the stock market. Hilarity ensues. Doesn't get any better.
ReplyDeleteI assume that all of the Air Bud movies are excluded from this categorization?
ReplyDelete"The Rookie" makes "Air Bud" look like "There Will be Blood."
